Dear Dr. Hadi Susilo Arifin,
Greeting from Hiroshima.Hope you are doing fine.
Today I am writing to ask a possibility of sending IPB students to IDEC under Japanese scholarship program. The scholarship name is “JASSO” or Japan Students Services Organization: http://www.jasso.go.jp/index_e.html We are thinking to apply for this scholarship if there are any students of Asian countries who wish to study in Japan.
Students stay for one semester from October to February 2014 and take at least seven classes (earning 14 credits) during the period. The scholarship is 80,000 yen/month. In case they stay until the term end (mid-February), they can receive it for five months (400,000 yen in total) and a certificate. But students have to pay their own travel expenses and tuition fees: 14,800 yen/credit (14 credits mean 207,200 yen).
Let me add one important thing, the students have to get excellent score: higher than middle of A and B in total on five-level rating system (S, A, B, C, F)
If it is likely that there is a possibility for your university to send a few students to IDEC, please let me know. We are sorry for such a short notice again, however, it would be highly appreciated if you let me know by the end of this week. Thank you very much for your kind consideration,
