We have an interesting project this year. It is “Oriental Honey Buzzard Migration Satellite-Tracking Project Open-To-The-Public 2012”. We caught 4 oriental honey buzzards, put GPS-transmitter on them and released them. They will migrant from Japan to Indonesia. Now, we can track their route on our home page.

We have facebook pages in some languages to communicate with bird watchers. We have Indonesian page also. My student translates from Japanese to Indonesian.

If you inform your colleagues and students about our project, we are so happy. The final destination of our birds is Indonesia, I am sure. Thank you.

Tomohiro
