The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) is now accepting applications from those wishing to participate in the Third Online Course on Responding to Climate Risks in Agriculture and NRM.  This learning event is geared towards those who are looking for a more solid introduction to the science behind climate change.  See below and the attached course brochure for more details about the course.

Geared towards those about to start active involvement in, or are relatively new at implementing, climate change adaptation initiatives in the agriculture and natural resources sector.  Lecturers include members of the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) such as Dr. Rodel Lasco from the Philippines and Dr. Rizaldi Boer from Indonesia.
Duration
Eight weeks: 14 Apr to 09 Jun 2012
Course fee
Regular rate: US$275.00.
Subsidized rate: US$115.00 (Available only to employees of government institutions in any of the SEAMEO member countries, i.e., Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam)
NOTE: This course does not offer full scholarship.
